452°F (4) is a scholarly journal dedicated to publishing research in the field of Arts and Humanities, and Published by Universitat de Barcelona. and its abbreviation is 452°F.

452ºF. Journal of Literary Theory and Comparative Literature, founded in 2009, is a scientific, electronic and multilingual publication, jointly co-edited by the University of Barcelona and the Cultural Association 452ºF. Its main objective is the publication and dissemination of academic contributions that reflect on the themes, problems and debates of the Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature, from a critical, rigorous and innovative approach. For this reason, in the vast and heterogeneous field of Literary and Cultural Studies, we are committed to interdisciplinarity and dialogue with the different branches of the Humanities.

Aimed at researchers interested in the different academic perspectives and reflections proposed from the fields of Literary Theory and Comparative Literature, 452ºF. Revista de Teoría de la Literatura y Literatura Comparada publishes two issues each year, in January and July. It also has a Scientific Committee of renowned national and international specialists and the support of top-level external evaluators. Likewise, since its inception, it has had the collaboration of a large team of illustrators who contribute to the interdisciplinary dialogues promoted by this publication.

Considering the importance of translation processes in the production and circulation of knowledge, the journal's defining linguistic plurality aims to address a heterogeneous and multilingual audience. For this reason, in addition to accepting works in the journal's official languages ​​— Spanish, Catalan and English —, articles in other Romance languages ​​will also be considered.
